FINAL RESULTS
REGATTA HIGHLIGHTS:
Day One:
Interesting Salt Pond conditions prevailed at the Nickerson Trophy.
The morning began with a northerly at 10-15 knots shifting to a light
and variable northwesterly. Goods times were also had on Gardener Island
where several teams started barnfires to stay warm.
Boston College jumped out to an early lead, winning 8 out of 12 races.
Tight battle for qualifying with the top 7 teams qualifying for freshman
ACC's.
Day Two:
A spectacular Fall day on Salt Pond. Temps in the mid 60s and not a cloud in
the sky.
Breeze started out West North-West 10-15 subsiding to 5-8 by the end of the
day.
13 races were completed in each division. Three protests were filed resulting
in one DSQ and one RAF.
Congratulations to the top seven teams for qualifying for the Freshman ACCs
next weekend at Brown!!!
