I am asking for an official investigation on the decision to add teams
to the Freshman ACC. The following criterion was set fourth:

7 NEISA

7 MAISA

2 SAISA

The decision to add teams to a ladder event most go through a process
and be voted on by our governing body. If this process has changed these
championships are no longer ladder events.

1. If it is found that teams where added by mistake I would like
their finish results EXPUNGED from the results. If their scores are not
Expunged ISCA or NEISA needs to refund the money that Connecticut
College spent out of its post season account to compete at this event.
(Post season accounts can only be used for ladder events. If teams are
added that did not original qualify it is not a ladder event).

2. If it is found that we can add berths to ACCs, I would like
Connecticut College to be added to the Women's @ CGA. CGA has plenty of
boats and the Camels have a better Intersectional record then 50% of the
qualified teams. ( I only suggest this to show how bad a decision it was
to add teams)

3. If it is found that ICSA wants to use at large bids for ACC's,
then they need to be consistent add berths at other ACC's event.

This is not a joke and everyone in college sailing should be part of
this. We can not change the rules on a weekly basis because the host
school has more boats. The criteria for Freshman ACC's, was set up as a
Championship ladder event and it was changed with out proper procedure.
It is very difficult to continue to compete in a sport that is
controlled by a small number of coaches. I am sure the coaches thought
it was a good idea to add teams to a great development event, but they
did not follow proper procedure, by adding teams they changed this event
into an intersectional and for teams that used post season accounts this
is a problem.

This is something that has to happen quickly. I need an answer to be
able to defend my spending of funds. This is no longer a come as you are
sport. Teams spend a lot of time, effort and money preparing for these
events and to have championships changed at the last minute is
unacceptable.
