Regatta Highlights:
Saturday: Postponement lasted until 3:25 pm. 6 races completed in each
division on a modified trapezoid with separate start finishes. 0
breakdowns while racing. Two rivets on the end of the brand new lasers
broke between races. One protest heard on the water that was
disallowed. 2 heard on land resulting in DSQ's. Two redresses were
filed for scoring, one awarded. One 42 call was made on the water.
Sunday: Racing began in a light northerly that was extremely shifty and
slowly built all day. A sailed the first nine races of the regatta in
420s then switched with b division into FJ's. 5 races before lunch 6
after.
