FINAL RESULTS
REGATTA HIGHLIGHTS:
Saturday: Day started off in a thick fog bank. The morning was full of OCSs and
general recalls due to strong out-going current. Once the breeze and current
settled, it was an excellent day racing on the salt pond. Breeze stayed 5 to 8
from the south. Lots of tight mark roundings and close races.
Sunday: Morning opened with strong northwest that slowly went as the day went
on. Racers dealt with long dramatic shifts to the left and right of the
westerly direction. Courses 4 and 5 were run through out the day.
Congratulations to UC Irvine who traveled across the country for a Moody Trophy
win.
