Beautiful weather and for the most part good wind graced us at the
Buckeye Intersectional. Winds out of the north on Saturday ranging from
2 to 12 knots. The courses sailed were windward leeward with either 1 or
2 laps depending on the wind conditions. Warm conditions with
temperatures in the 70's graced us on both days. One protest was filed
and five breakdowns. Eighteen Races were completed. Sunday showed
similar weather as the day before with winds at 5-12 from the SW.
Temperatures again reached the 70's with bright sunshine. Two laps
around the windward leeward course were used for the remaining 6 races.
Two breakdowns were filed. Big thanks to everyone who came out and
helped as well as to South Alabama, University of Florida, Christopher
Newport, and Hamilton, for making the long journey to sail on our inland
lake.
