REGATTA HIGHLIGHTS:
Saturday: saw E-SE breeze all day with velocity ranging from 3-8 knots.
All courses were triangle windward leeward. 10 races were completed in
each
division with A sailing 420's and B FJ's. It was extremely shify as the
Easterly was fighting the Southeasterly all day.
There were no breakdowns or protests.
The jury gave several warnings for Rule 42 but no penalties were given
out.
Jury- Sue Reilly, George Crocker, Judy Hanlon and Tim Hotchkiss.
Sunday: Breeze was out of the East all day with puffs topping out at
28-30.
Wind speeds ranged mainly from 8-18 knots. All courses sailed were
triangle
windward leeward. 18 races were sailed in each Division.
One protest was heard and disallowed. The jury issued several more
Warnings for Rule 42 violations but no penalties were given out. Thanks
to our
Judges on Sunday, Sue Reilly, George Crocker and Judy Hanlon. Thanks to
the
Coast Guard Cadets for running a great event.
