PCCSC Team Race Champs Stanford University April 28, 2006 A fabulous day of sailing in the Redwood City basin. One fleet if FJ's and one fleet of 420's provided by Stanford. N-courses sailed all day. On-water umpiring by Bryan McDonald, Don Becker, Tom Roberts, Harrison Turner, Genny Tulloch, Kevin Richards, Kristen Lane. 5-12 knots of breeze shifted slowly from Northeast to Northwest as the day went on, 3 Round Robins were held for a total of 30 races. Stanford had a perfect record until losing to Hawaii in Race 24, and USC in Race 29. UCI looked like a shoe-in to the top two until losing two races (#28 & #30) to USC & Hawaii respectively. Great effort by all. Congrats to Stanford and USC for earning the two berths to Team Race Nationals!
