Final NEISA Berth Allocation for Women's Atlantic Coast Championships is as follows: BC, CC, D, H, RWU, T, Y To clarify, Connecticut College earned a Championship berth at the Urn Trophy on the water. However, their team was rescored due to an omission on the RP form. Connecticut College fell from 9th to 13th in the regatta and fell out of a qualifying position. In an act of profound sportsmanship, the Women's Teams from MIT, URI, and Vermont (the next teams in line from the Urn) all turned down the available berth in order for the team that had earned the berth, Connecticut College, to sail in the Women's Atlantic Coast Championships. On behalf of NEISA, I would like to congratulate all the qualifiers and I'd like to join Connecticut College in thanking the sailors from MIT, URI, and Vermont for their sportsmanship.
