Nine teams turned out at Navy for the 2006 Kennedy Cup, the first time the
event has been held in the fall.  Three races were completed

in extremely shifty and puffy northwesterly breeze ranging between 7 and 17
knots.

 

URI rose to the challenge posting a 2,1,1 to lead St. Mary's who finished
3,2,4.  Cal Maritime and Kings Point are tied for third with 11 points.
Navy struggled all day and currently holds down 7th.

 

Racing will continue tomorrow and Sunday.
