Bob Bavier Team Race College of Charleston 2/24-25/07 Regatta Highlights: Saturday- Ideal team racing conditions and sunny skies were to be had on the first day of the Bob Bavier Team Race. 56 races were raced to complete a double round robin. Winds were 8-12 mph out of the ENE shifting to SE as the day went on. The tide was flooding for most of the day but slacked and switched by the end. There were no brakedowns. Four protests were filed resulting in four DSQs. Big thanks to the coaches who stayed to help hear the protests along with John Bowden and Ed Norton. Also, thanks go out to the Charleston undergrads who contributed to the day's success.
