Maine Maritime Academy (MMA) seeks to fill the following position: Coach I (Varsity Sailing Coach)
The Head Varsity Sailing Coach serves under the direction of the Marine Operations Manager and is responsible for coaching all varsity level sailing activities and will be expected to plan, supervise and conduct all racing activities for the varsity dinghy and offshore teams, develop practice and racing schedules, run practices, coach at regattas, sail with the offshore racing team and evaluate the performance of sailors. Preferred candidates will possess varsity sail coaching experience at the college level including offshore and dingy racing experience, knowledge of all applicable college racing and procedural rules and will assist the Sailing Master with teaching Physical Education sailing. Full-time, 10 month position. Pay Range 20, $31,449.97.
