REGATTA HIGHLIGHTS: Sat- Racing in front of St FYC in 10-20 kts
of breeze. All fleets sailedStbd W/L and Triangles. Great racing
for both Men's & Women's teams. For some, many capsizes and
swimming as they honed their Breeze-on skills. Due to an RC error Race
1A was abandoned to be resailed on Sunday.
Sunday- Racing started in front of StFYC then moved to pumphouse
cove as breeze built from 10 to 20-30 kts of breeze.
Stanford Co-Ed's ruled the day winning the racing on the water by a
comfortable margin!!!
However, due to a coaching error on the part of Coach Kehoe
(who was acting as RC as well) the Stanford Co-ed team retired
after finising the last 2 races in both A & B Divisions.
Speical thanks to St Francis Yacht Club and Jen Morgan-Glass and
her horde of former college sailors who volunteered to run the
racing. Thanks to Bryan McDonald for hearing the redresses
one protest.
