26th Lynne Marchiando Team Race Saturday, April 7th at MIT
Very frustrating conditions on the Charles River for race committee and
sailors. Wind varied from westerly to northerly to easterly but one
round robin was completed to determine top four for tomorrows
championship round. Congratulations to Roger Williams, Harvard, Conn,
and Coast Guard for qualifying to sail for the championship.
All races were umpired using the limited umpire system. Huge thanks to
all the NEISA alumni and MIT Sailors who umpired and helped run the

FRIIS TROPHY Saturday, April 7 at Tufts
Wind was light and variable until 11:00, west and north becoming North
at 10 knots. Two round robins were completed.
A few breakdowns and protests on the water but no protests filed and no
re-sails, as none of these issues affected the split for Sunday's Gold
and Silver.
Dartmouth, Yale, Tufts, and Stanford will go to MIT Sunday for the Gold
fleet round.
Thanks to judges Reade Everett and Mike Hodess (Tufts '06) for being on
hand, and to Tufts undergrads for helping out with breakdowns and
finish boat.
