REGATTA HIGHLIGHTS:
Saturday: Postponed due to no wind until 1pm. Racing started in a
Southwest Breeze at 4-8 knots increasing, shifting right to the
Northeast and then subsiding to end the day with adverse current in the
southwest and a cross current in the NE breeze. A sailed in 420's, B in
FJ's. Races were windward leeward twice around with a gate and were a
solid 20-24 minutes each. One breakdown filed and disallowed. One
protest resulted in a DSQ. One redress disallowed, one still pending.

and KP RC.
Sunday: Racing started promptly at 9:31am in a light Northwesterly at
4-8 knots that slowly built all day but drastic changes in velocity and
big shifts. A and B switched fleets right at the start of the day.
Wind increased to 15 knots for the last race in each division with the
last race starting at 3:30. Upwind/cross current built at the end of
the day causing several general recalls and the 1 minute rule was in
effect for all starts beginning with race 16. The races again were
windward leeward twice around with a gate, and on the lengthy side at
20-25 minutes. The redress from yesterday was dropped, one redress
allowed for scoring, one protest resulted in a RAF. Zero breakdowns.
