REGATTA HIGHLIGHTS: Competitors arrived to a 4-6 knot northerly which lasted
throughout the morning. During the 6th race the wind decreased to 2-4 knots
and shifted to the East. The wind velocity increases back to 4-6 knots before
race # 7. Nine modified windward leeward's 2X's were completed. All races
were sailed in the river, north of the sailing center. One protest was filed
then withdraw and three *yellow flags were taken.
Thanks to C of C Alum, John Bowden, for running the races. Thanks to
Charleston undergrads Jackson Benvenutti, Luke O'Neill and Walter Maguiere for
their help on the water over the past two weekends.
Congratulations to the USF Bulls for qualifying for the ICSA Sloop Nationals.
