The organizing authority is the Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association (ICSA).

Race management, fleet, facilities and support are provided by the

Fort Worth Boat Club & SEISA



1.        *Rules*:  The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in
the Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) for 2007-08, the Current ICSA Procedural
Rules, the General Conditions of the ICSA Championships, Conditions for the
Sloop Championship, and this Notice of Race, except as any of these are
modified by the Sailing Instructions.



2.        *Boats*:  The event will be sailed in J-22s (provided by the host)
with a crew of 3.



3.        *Sailing Site*:  The Fort Worth Boat Club, 10,000 Boat Club Rd.

4.        *Reciprocity*: FWBC does reciprocate with other Yacht Clubs please
contact the FWBC office for information.

7.        *Eligibility*:  All entrants must meet ICSA eligibility
requirements and have qualified in a conference elimination event according
to the Condition of the event.



8.        *Fees*:  Entry fee is $75 per team and includes 4 banquet tickets.
Additional tickets can be purchased for $20. A $500 damage deposit is also
due at registration and will be returned in full if no damage occurs. Check
(made out to FWBC) or cash please, sorry no credit cards. Please make entry
fee/extra ticket payment separate from the damage deposit so that the
deposit can be easily returned.

*11.    **Housing: *Some housing may be available in YC Cabanas; this is on
a first come first serve basis. Contact the Regatta Chair for information.**

*Hotels:* The YC is in a rural area, there are few housing options nearby;
the following are the best within a reasonable distance.

*12.    **Sailing Instructions:  *Available at registration and online at

*13.    **Transportation: *All national carriers serve Dallas/Ft.Worth
International (DFW) (30 mi and 30min-1hr (in traffic) from the YC) and
Dallas Love Field (for Southwest Airlines)(40mi and 1-1.5 hr). **

SEISA recommends Capps Rentals www.cappsvanrental.com.

Traffic can be an issue in the DFW metroplex, please plan accordingly and
contact the Regatta Chairman for questions.**

*14.    **Meals:  *Race day lunches and banquet fees are included in
competitors' entry fee.  Coaches and supporters may expect to pay FWBC $5
each for sack lunches, which include a sandwich with toppings (packaged
separately), chips, fruit, granola bar, and cookies and $20 each for banquet
tickets. A lunch break is anticipated, however competitors should plan to be
"on-the-water" for an entire day. Water will be available from the RC, mark
set, and chase boats. An informal dinner will probably be organized for
Friday evening.**
