2007 Kathryn Hammond Memorial Regatta

Regatta Highlights:
Saturday:
The regatta opened to 5-10 kt SE breeze which quickly grew to 10-20 kt
shifty SE-SW conditions. 16 Races were sailed in Windward-leeward once
and twice around courses, as well as triangle and olympic courses.
Multiple flips were observed during the racing. No protests were filed
throughout the day.
Sunday:
Racing commenced at 1030 with a steady 15-20 kt Southern breeze. 8
Races were completed, with the winds dying to 10-15 kts by the
conclusion of racing. No protests were filed throughout the day.
Congratulations to the University of Texas on winning the Kathryn Hammond!
A huge thanks to the PRO, Steve Gay, for an exceptional job in running
the races, and to all of the teams who traveled far and wide to come
sail in Austin.
