These are the results for: Sharpe Trophy Team Race @ Brown March 1-2

March 1-2, 2008

Day One Highlights: 1pm report time for day one after the snow and rain had
passed. Great conditions with West/NW winds at 6-12 knots on the 'N' course.
Cold at times and a short snow squall came through halfway through the day.
The sun finally came out for the last hour of racing. Two round robins
completed and two more planned for tomorrow with a 12pm first race scheduled.
One protest reported but not followed through.

Day Two Highlights: 12pm first race in a brisk NW breeze at 8-18 knots and a
few bigger puffs. Sunny and shifty. Two more round robins completed, Boston
College dominated the Sharpe Trophy. A three-way tie for second. No protests
followed through. Great racing and attitude by all.

A huge thanks to the Brown sailors who helped out in the cold weather: Ben
Siegal '08, Mark Towill '11, Sally Evans '11, Allyson Russell '11, Fred
Strammer '11, Ben Kurtz '08, Elizabeth Barry '11, and Amy Walker '11. Thanks
as well to our Judge, George Crocker on Saturday, Avram Robbins '04.5 for
helping on Sunday, and to coaches Greg Wilkinson (BC), Mike O'Connor (Harvard),
and Matt Lindblad (MIT) for helping on the water on Sunday.

PRO: John Mollicone
