Northerly Breeze that eventually dead. A crisp 5-12 knot southerly filled in
for the conclusion of the Championship round. Thanks to the judges Clay
Johnson, Jamie Gillman and Peter Johns for hearing protests after each race. A
big thank to the Connecticut College Camels for running the races and a special
thanks to Jacob Karlin for helping to direct the undergrads. RP information
will follow.

Conciliation Round at CGA: 19 races were completed in a Northerly breeze
that ranged from 5-8 knots before the breeze died. 9 more races were sailed
to complete the first round robin in a nice 5-12 knot southerly. All races
sailed were the college style N-course all 9-13 minutes in length.
Unfortunately while the boats sat rigged, protests were being heard so we
missed the best breeze of the afternoon, so no sail-offs could take place.
Thanks to Bern Noack, Kyle Kovacs and especially Justin Assad who along with
myself heard 5 protests for one infamous race. In all 4 DSQ’s were handed out
that changed the overall results for 4 teams. Many thanks again to the CGA
sailing team who ran another fantastic event. Final results are for places
