REGATTA HIGHLIGHTS:
Racing began Saturday in a rare gorge easterly. Wind quickly built to
16-18knts with puffs up to 22 with waves 2-4ft. The breeze decreased
to 12-14 knots with a day time high of 75. 1 redress was filed and
disallowed.
Sunday provided classic gorge conditions with a building breeze from
the west. Racing began in shifty 8-10 knots and finished in 12-15.
Temperatures in the upper 60s. 1 redress and one protest were filled,
both were disallowed.
Thanks to the CGRA and the Port of Cascade Locks for use of their
facilities. And thanks to UCLA for once again making the long drive to
the NWICSA only intersectional.
