FINAL RESULTS
REGATTA HIGHLIGHTS: The SAISA women's championship was held in beautiful
conditions on the Cooper River in front of the sailing center. We had steady
south/southwesterly breeze ranging from 10-20 knots throughout the day and
sunny skies with an ebb tide for most of the day. We sailed in 2 fleets of 420s
on triangle-windward-leeward courses. 12 races were completed in each division;
no protests, no breakdowns. Thanks to all of the SAISA teams that made the trip
to Charleston. And a big thanks to CofC team members Coreyanna Moore, Bryan
Rigby, Logan Hearn, Morgan Ward, Andrew Zuber, Mary Maxwell and Sarah Walcott
for running a great event. Congrats to Charleston, USF and Eckerd on qualifying
for the ICSA Women's National Championship.
