St. Mary's College of Maryland at Historic St. Mary's City is accepting resumes for the position of Assistant Director of Waterfront Activities The position will report directly to the Waterfront Director and shall be responsible for safely managing the River Center and Rowing Center complexes including maintenance of facilities and equipment, developing programming to maximize student, faculty, staff utilization of the waterfront, oversee all water essential clubs, supervising of daily operations, managing summer operations including any camps and special events, teach instructional classes, and more. Experience in outdoor education, small rescue boats and motors as well as US Sailing Level I instructor Trainer certification is highly desirable. Any combination of acceptable education and experience, which has provided the necessary knowledge and skills to fulfill the requirements of this position, may be considered. St. Mary's College of Maryland at Historic St. Mary's City is located 70 miles southeast of Washington D.C. and is Maryland's designated public honors college for the liberal arts.
