SUNY Maritime College is looking for an Assistant Waterfront Director
Description of Duties: * Assist the Director of the Waterfront in leading a vibrant waterfront center including intercollegiate sailing and crew teams, waterfront student activities, hosting collegiate and high school regattas, sailing and powerboat courses, clinics, summer camps, and recreational programs. * Supervise and perform maintenance of the waterfront facilities (shops, bays, docks and administrative spaces) and equipment (20 ton travel lift, fork lift, boats, tools) as an exemplary marina/boat yard facility * Teach Physical Education Courses & Community Programs including but not limited to: Learn to Sail, Safe Powerboat Handling, NYS Boating Safety, Adventure Learning * Support the athletic department and waterfront through the supervision of student activities * Travel with sailing and crew teams when necessary * Provide colleagues, students, faculty and staff the support necessary to help them succeed Required: * Bachelor's Degree * Enthusiastic, positive team-player * Strong organizational and interpersonal skills * Boat and facility maintenance skills * Strong computer skills Desired: * College sailing or coaching experience * Engine or fiberglass repair expertise * Offshore sailing experience Please send resumes to: Robert T.
