FINAL RESULTS
REGATTA HIGHLIGHTS:
Saturday there was no racing due to lack of wind.
The Academy's fleet of Colgate 26's were used with a crew of four.
Sunday morning saw a 5-8 knot Southerly and the first race was started
on time.
Four races were sailed in the morning followed by a very brief bathroom/
lunchbreak and three more races were sailed in a dying SE in the
afternoon.
All courses were W/L four legs with an offset mark and separate leeward
mark. There were no protests and one yellow falg was taken.
NY Maritime sailed extremely well and won the 2008 Pine Trophy by 11
pts.
The New England Sloop Championships will be held here on September
27-28th.
