Sailors, coaches, and advisors:
College Sailing is entering our 5th weekend of competition this fall and the season is going well despite some challenges well out of our control. I certainly appreciate the support other SEISA teams have offered their competitors effected by hurricane Ike in the Galveston Bay area. I do need to remind everyone that ICSA requires all competitors to be registered on the ICSA Online individual directory. Conferences may have additional registration requirements. Please go to http://www.collegesailing.org/directory/individual/ and register or indicate your eligibility for the current season. There have been quite a few individuals who have competed this fall and are not registered. If you are having challenges registering please contact David Dabney, [EMAIL PROTECTED] While on the topic of registration, we cannot help but know that the elections are upon us. However, you may not know that it is election season at US Sailing too. US Sailing members are asked to participate in the election of its board of directors. This can be done online at www.ussailing.org. The ICSA is an association of US Sailing. And we are fortunate to be well represented in the House of Delegates and on the Board of Directors. PCCSC Conference Commissioner Amy Kehoe is one of the incumbent US Sailing Vice Presidents up for reelection. Voting ends on October 8th (about the date where in most states voting registration ends). And finally, I congratulate the outstanding honorees of the ICSA All Academic Sailing Team. It is an incredible collection of grade point averages and competitive abilities. Good luck this weekend and the rest of the fall season.
