Hap Moore Team Race US Coast Guard Academy October 11-12, 2008
Saturday: 8 races were completed in a Northerly before the breeze shut off. 44 more races were sailed starting at 1:30 when the sea breeze filled. 3 races needed to complete the round robin. Format Sunday will most likely split the group into a Gold 6 and Silver 5 teams for another single rotation. Thanks to our judges Peter Johns and Charlie Cook who were on the water for limited umpiring of which they made 8 calls on the water. 5 protests were heard at the end of the day resulting in 3 DSQ's changing only one races outcome. Great job by all the Coast Guard Academy Sailing Team members in running another great day of racing. Here are the current scores.
