REGATTA HIGHLIGHTS:Satuday:
The fleet was sent out in a dying northerly which evaporated byt the time the
fleet hit the starting area. At 11:15 a light easterly filled enough to get
off the first race. Each race after that saw the breeze steadily shift right
all the way to a Southwesterly and holding around 7-8 knots. Seven races were
completed all on W/L twice around courses. One protest was heard which was
disallowed, 4 redresses were given, and 3 breakdowns were handed out by the
jury. Many thanks to Conn College and the Perkins family for the use of their
powerboats and to our jury of Emily Hill, Meridith Killion and Matt Barry
