FINAL RESULTS
REGATTA HIGHLIGHTS:
Saturday: A great day of racing with Southeast winds starting out at 6-10 knots
and going south and building to 12-20 knots for the second half of the day.
All courses were W4s with offset and leeward gates. Two DSQs and one redress
given.
Sunday: Beautiful weather with temps in the 60's. Wind was very shifty and
unstable from the NW to the W/SW at 3-8 knots. Periods of the day with no
breeze and lots of delays. Strong current made for lots of general recalls.
W4 and W3 courses with offset and leeward gates. No protests filed. Vermont
and Brown qualify for ACC's from NEISA (BC, Roger Williams, and Conn qualified
at the Danmark). Congrats to Roger Williams on winning both divisions and the
Sherman Hoyt Trophy.
Thanks to our judges George Crocker, Dick Gumpert, Ted Greene, and Isaac Stoner
(Sunday). Thanks as well to Brown sailors Lucy Seyfarth, Niki Osvalds, Tim
