REGATTA HIGHLIGHTS:
Saturday:
Races 1-3 were windward leewards twice around with a gate above the starting
line. Races 4-7 were modified windward leewards twice around with a gate.
Courses were 30-40 minutes in a 8-15 knot southerly. 3 yellow flag penalties
were taken, one BKD awarded, one protest disallowed, one retire after finish.
Sunday:
Races were 45 minutes in 14-16 knot stable westerly on long island sound.
Courses were modified windward-leeward with an offset and a gate. One yellow
flag taken, one breakdown filed but dropped, one protest filed but dropped.
Thanks to Judges Eric Johnson, John Mooney and Bruce Cook for hearing the
protests and helping out on the weekend.
