Saturday – Fourteen teams arrived to 72 deg temps, partly cloudy skies, and
generally southerly 6-8 knot breezes for the Mendelblatt Team Race Regatta,
co-hosted by University of South Florida and Eckerd College. One round of
qualifying races were completed by 1:30 pm. The Championship double round-robin
was then started at USF, and the Consolations at Eckerd. One redress given
toYale for breakdown (vs Eckerd), race to be re-sailed. One protest allowed (BU
vs Eckerd). Three protests disallowed.
Similar conditions forecast for Sunday.
