REGATTA HIGHLIGHTS:
Saturday: 16 races were sailed, 8 in A and 8 in B, in west wind at 7-17knts
Courses were all windward leewards with a leeward gate. The west wind
created some shifty conditions that made for some challenging racing.
Special thanks goes out to all the HWS Sailors who helped run the event and
to Dick White and Doc Sullivan for Judging.

"Champions do not become champions when they win the event, but in the hours,
weeks, months and years that they spend preparing for it. The victorious
performance is merely the demonstration of their championship character."
 - T. Alan Armstrong

"The difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of
strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather a lack of will." - Vince Lombardi

"Champions are made from something they have deep inside them: A desire, a
dream, a vision."
 - Muhammad Ali
