Regatta Highlights:
Teams arrived to sunny Seattle weather and after skippers meeting
waited about a half hour for the 8-10 knot northerly to come down the
lake. Racing was completed quickly using Sail Sand Point's 2 fleets
of FJ's and a N course with races ~15 minutes in length. One protest
was heard and resulted in a DSQ. The 3 round robins were completed by
~3:30 and so informal team racing concluded the day with some coaches
hopping in boats with mixed teams from the NW.
No racing on Sunday.
A special thanks to Kyle Eaton and Paul Stewart for keeping the
course square and keeping the racing running quickly, also to Sail
Sand Point for allowing the use of their facilities and boats.
Congratulations to University of Washington who will represent the
NWICSA at Nationals in San Francisco.
