ICSA Women's National Championship
St. Francis Yacht Club & Stanford University
May 26-27, 2009

HIGHLIGHTS:
Tuesday: Great day of racing, sunny skies and good breeze. We had 8-12
knots for the morning racing, picking up to 15-18 this afternoon with
gusts up to 22 knots. 8 races were completed in B Division and 6 were
completed in A Division. The fleet handled the tough conditions very
well, the day started with a strong flood and had switched to an ebb by
the later races. One request for redress was filed and granted, no
protests. The regatta banquet is tonight at the St. Francis Yacht Club.
Racing will resume tomorrow, starting with A Division's 7th race.

Wednesday: Racing began promptly at 9:45am. It was an exciting day of
competitive, close racing and constantly changing results. The morning
started out with 10-15 knots, building to 18-22 in the later races. 8
races were completed in A Division and 6 were completed in B Division,
for a total of 14 per division over the two days. Two requests for
redress were filed, one was granted, no protests.

Special thanks to PRO Mike Kalin, Regatta Chairs Rolf Kaiser and Shannon
Bonds, each and every Race Committee volunteer, the panel of Judges,
Stanford University, ICSA, and all of the sponsors for making this event
possible.

Congratulations to Yale University for winning the 2009 ICSA Women's
