Saturday- The day started with a westerly breeze that built and clocked towards
the north as the day went on. 17 teams sailed 8 races in A and 6 races in B on
w4s and w5s, with a windward offset and leeward gate. 1 protest was heard
resulted in a DSQ.
Sunday-The breeze started out as a light south-westerly that quickly built;
topping out with gusts higher than 15 knots. Competitors battled the short chop
and current, sailing w4 courses all day. 2 requests for redress we heard and
granted, while 1 protest was heard and disallowed.
A big thanks goes out to Mike Campbell URI 04, for a great deal of help
throughout the days of racing, as well as our great judges Ted Green and Leo
Bernedes, who spent both days on the water following the races and hearing
protests.
