Atlantic Coast Women's Championship - FINAL RESULTS
Brown University/Edgewood YC
November 14-15, 2009

Saturday
So much for the forecasted big breeze. N/NE winds at 4-10 knots and lots of
rain at times. Current played a major role in many races. Courses were W4's
and one W3 to end the day. Two protests filed resulting in two DSQ's. Thanks
to our judges Ted Green, Susan Epstein, and Leo Berendes. Thanks as well to
everyone who helped out: Chase Hogoboom '03, Niki Osvalds '11, Tucker Adams
'11, Evan Gill '12, Molly Bernstein '13, Ashley Noble '13, and Colin Smith '13.

Sunday
A light northerly hung in there for much of the day to get in four A-division
races and two B-division races. The sun finally came out and the wind
completely died at 2:15pm. We waited untl 3:30pm for something to get the last
two B-division races in. Unfortunately, it never happened and the regatta was
called at 3:30pm with 8 races in each division. One file for redress was
denied. Thanks to our judges Ted Green, Susan Epstein, Leo Berendes, and
George Crocker for Sunday. Also, thanks to Brown sailors Brandon Kaufmann
'12, Brent Lunghino '12, AJ Warren '12, and Tommy Fink '13 for their help today.

Congrats to Boston College on winning Women's ACC's.
