What a beautiful day on the Elizabeth River! Sailors and coaches were greeted to very sunny skies and great breeze. Town Pointe Yacht Club provided food and beverages for the entire regatta and ODU provided commemorative water bottles in an outstanding effort to reduce the chances of more of our waste ending up in the Pacific Gyre. In all, two full round robins were completed in quite shifty NE-E breezes ranging from 5-15 knots. Many thanks to the ODU sailors and the judges that volunteered their weekend, without whom this regatta would not have run so smoothly. One more full round remains to complete the regatta. Attached is the scoring matrix from the day.
