Saturday:

18 teams converged on the US Merchant Marine Academy for the Admirals
Cup regatta. After a delay until 2:45 due to lack of wind, 9 races were
run in each of the 3 divisions in an increasing sea breeze. Shifty
conditions and current flowing up the course made for a tricky day on
the water with numerous OCS boats. 1 breakdown request was heard and
granted to Dartmouth.

Sunday:

Sunday started with pouring rain and light wind. The breeze was shifty
and ranged from 2 knots to 8 knots throughout the day. Two races were
called back due to big shifts on the first beat. 9 Races were run in
each division to finish the rotation. All races on both days were run on
a trapezoid course. A big thanks goes out to Sue Miller for standing by
as chief judge.

Congratulations to Hobart & William Smith for winning the 2010 Admirals
Cup!
