The Columbia University Sailing Club has purchased twenty 420s with
Fordham University to be used beginning in the fall of 2010. To make
room for our new fleet we are selling the FJs we currently own.
There is one remaining 2003 FJ and two 1993 FJs. These boats were
used for practice three times a week and kept on a floating dock.
Hulls are still stiff, with normal wear for their age. Each boat comes
with a full set of rigging, sails, blades and lines. The boats are
responsive and handle well in all wind conditions in flatter water.
These boats would be great for a new team trying to build their
program or a casual sailor.
We are asking $1500 for the 2003 FJ and $1000 for the 1993 FJ.
