Brad is on his way for the final stretch of just a few more hours! He completed
over 107 miles to UNH this morning. Lots of video was shot and will soon be
added to the Sailgroove.org site, so go check it out. Brad is at it again!!

I want to sincerely thank all of ISCA member schools, individuals, coaches and
Brad in particular who initiated this crazy idea. I think it really speaks to
the community of sailing that we can reach out and help when such a devastating
occurrence happens. Thanks to Sailgroove.org who really stepped up to help,
Chris Love must have owed Brad a lot! Sailgroove ironed out some kinks, put a
homepage together, designed a super banner, made financial arrangements and in
essence did all the grunt work. All the while adding some great archived
footage of more of Brads antics. Mark Fortin of Kattack made watching Brad in
action possible. He outfitted Brad with a GPS and lots of batteries and created
a seamless link to the Skate for UNH page. I know I was up periodically
throughout the night, as were many of the team, before my checkpoint shifts to
see where Brad was. Kattack is so very cool. Brad was a dinghy in action on the
screen. He was so fast coming north that we feared he would arrive at UNH long
before anyone was up. Brad recalculated his journey and added another 27 miles
to his outbound leg to UNH. His tacks and jibes were effortless, his strategy
will be accomplished and his tactics were the best I've seen in skate to car
situations. At red lights he stomped on the competition just port tacking the
cars around many windward marks. As you can imagine there are many tales, so
tune in and check them out.

Regatta Networks stepped up as a sponsor as well. So don't forget to thanks
these folks when you see them.

After a dip in the UNH outdoor pool Brad headed back for a two sets of grueling
10 plus miles in between stops with many hills in the process. He's over the
border in Mass.now and headed home. I know his body is looking forward to the
end of this adventure.

Its not too late to support this amazing endeavour. Brad felt that some of the
legs deserved extra pledging and consideration, so don't disappoint him. What
you give goes to support the UNH Sailing Program, a program that at the
forefront is the UNH Sailing Team. The community programs that UNH Sailing also
provides include a junior and senior high school combined team, coached by the
UNH Sailing Team, and a comprehensive Community Sailing Centre providing
sailing, kayaking and canoeing lessons and racing opportunities to kids from
6-18, as well as adults.

Thanks again to all of you.
