The Pacific Coast Collegiate Sailing Conference is looking to create a pool
of volunteers to assist our teams in running events and to serve as judges
and umpires. In order to accomplish this we need your help. Right now the
majority of our teams are student run club teams. Sailors alternate between
race committee duty and racing throughout the day which doesn't let them
focus on either task. We want to let our sailors just focus on their racing
at regattas but in order to do that we need some volunteers to help.

There are plenty of former college sailors out here in California and
Hawaii, we just need to know where you are and what you're interests are.
There are plenty of opportunities to learn how to be a judge or umpire and
if it ends up being something you enjoy we can help you get certified. It
doesn't matter what school you sailed for we just need your help. Please
visit: http://collegesailing.org/pccsc/volunteers.htm to sign up.

This information will be collected in a database that can then be shared
with host schools when they are short on volunteers. Even if you can only
come by for a few hours during an event that would be great.

See you on the water.
