Saturday
18 races were sailed in an easterly at 5-10mph. The course was
windward/leeward twice around with an offset and a gate. The races ranged
from 10-17 minutes in length. We completed 10 races in A and 8 races in B.
One protest was heard resulting in a DSQ and one protest is pending to be
heard tomorrow morning.
Sunday
In the morning a protest was heard resulting in a DSQ. The fleet drifted
out and waited for wind. The sea breeze finally filled in at about 2:15. 3
B races and 1 A Race were sailed to total 11 races in each division for the
regatta. Congratulations to the College of Charleston, University of
Florida, and the University of Miami for qualifying to go to ACCs at
Navy. Thanks
to all of the Tritons that helped make the regatta successful.
