Saturday:

Sailors were greeted with an oscillating NW-N breeze at 10-18 knots. A high
tide made rotations quick allowing us to get in 8 races in each division with
minimal general and individual recalls. No protests were filed and one request
for redress was filed which will be heard Sunday. Big thanks to the Monarch
Sailors who have been running the event. 3 more races in each division
tomorrow will complete the regatta.

Sunday:

The remainder of the 11 race rotation was completed with breeze from the N-NW
13 - 22 knots. We had one protest filed resulting in a DSQ for Kings Point in
race 10B. We had two requests for redress filed. The University of Pennsylvania
was awarded redress in race 9A for a breakdown, however Cornell University's
request was disallowed in race 3A.

The MAISA Women's Fall Championship is a qualifier for the Women's Atlantic
Coast Championships to be hosted at Eckerd on November 13-14, 2010.
Congratulations to the Georgetown University, the University of Pennsylvania,
Cornell University, the US Naval Academy, and George Washington University for
qualifying. Hobart & William Smith, St. Mary's College and Old Dominion
University previously qualified for the Women's Atlantic Coast Championship at
the Navy Fall Women's Regatta.

Thank you to the Old Dominion University sailors for doing a great job with
race committee.
