Bowdoin College is excited to host the Atlantic Coast Tournament this upcoming weekend. We have a new fleet of 'Lake Style' FJs made by LaserPerformance with North Gold Standard Sails.
Courses will be windward leewards with gates. SI's will be available outside the boathouse Saturday morning. We have a small, heated boathouse. All coaching will be from land. Report time Saturday morning is 9:30. The forecast call for temperature this weekend in the high 40s and low 50s. The water temperature is in the 40s. I highly recommend teams have the right gear for cold weather sailing including drysuits. Directions are copied below. Email or call with questions. 1. *Directions: *- Exit 28 off I-295 (Bath/Brunswick) - Follow Rt.1 North 2 1/3 miles to Cooks Corner (Orr's & Bailey Island exit) going straight through the intersection, - Follow Rt.24 for 4.3 miles - Turn left toward Cundy's Harbor. Follow Cundy's Harbor Road 3.2 miles - Turn right onto Bethel Point Road.
