Port of LA Harbor Cup Final

Sunday- Little wind and overcast skies coupled with the time change
caused
an anticipated postponement until the breeze filled in. The first race
was
a three times around, USC got a great start and kept going to win with
Navy
close behind. CMA was third to clinch the regatta, Navy clinched 2nd .
CSUCI sailing consistently finished in 4th while UH had a bad race and
finished 8th. The wind had filled in, about
8 kts. Going into the 10th race, third place was up for grabs between
USC,
UH & CSUCI. UH had a great race and led all three laps but CSUCI stayed
right behind them. USC struggled in 6th.

Thanks to LAYC race committee for a great event.
