Sailors arrived to a beautiful morning with temperatures in the forties and a
northerly gusting into the mid-twenties. After a short postponement, racing
began with Cooper River gold cups until the wind decreased into the teens; W4s
with offsets and gates were utilized thereafter to run 14 races. One redress
was granted and one protest was filed resulting in a DSQ. Thanks to the team of
Cougars for helping run races and Ted Hale for hearing protests.
