There was great wind and lots of racing for Day 1 of the Marchiando
Team Race at MIT. A back-to-back double round robin (sailing each team
back-to-back) was completed in a Northerly that swung around to a SE
seabreeze around noon. 42 races were sailed with some receiving
umpiring. Thanks to our umpires: Christian Manchester, Evan Cooke,
Josh Leighton and Karlen Ruleman for umpiring on the water, and thanks
to Brooks Reed and Jeff Dusek for coming down to help coaches hear the
remaining protests.

A big thanks to our finish boat and scoring volunteers, all MIT
undergrads: Bruno Faviero, Jacqui Soegaard, and Mark Van de Loo. Fran
Charles manned the "mark tweak" boat, and a team of coaches sailed the
Lynx catboat coach boat.
