Saturday morning brought a very light westerly in which race 1A was
sailed before the breeze shut off. The fleet waited 45 minutes while
there was some teasing puffs that came through but not enough to start
another race. At 1130 both fleets took an early lunch break and we
waited for the WSW breeze to fill in. We got back on the water around
1300 and sailed the rest of the afternoon in shifty and puffy
conditions. Ten races were completed in each division with A in FJ's and
B in 420's. The divisions will switch fleets tomorrow morning. All
courses were W-4's with an offset mark and leeward gates. One protest
was heard resulting in a DSQ and one protest will be heard in the
morning. Thanks to Ted Greene for being on the water all day and hearing
protests as well as Ensign Jon Duffett who served as PRO.
