Cloudy skies and no wind greeted the 19 competitors vying for the NEISA
Men's Singlehanded Championship and the four qualifying spots for
Singlehanded Nationals. Racing began at noon with one race completed in an
unstable, light southwesterly breeze. A second race was attempted and
abandoned, as the breeze became increasingly unstable. A light sea breeze
filled at 2:45 and lasted until 5:15, allowing for five good races in four
to eight knots out of the southeast.

Thanks to judges John Moulthrop and Jeff Dusek and BC undergrads Isabelle
Salvaterra and Evan Woodford for their help with RC and scoring.
