Nine women’s teams competed in Charleston’s fleet of 18 FJs to complete 12 races on Crab Bank in a shifty northwesterly breeze of 9-17 knots. A combination of W4s, W5s, and gold cups were utilized making the combined division racing fun and competitive. Only three points separate Charleston, Georgetown, and Yale as we switch to 420s for the remaining six races. One protest was filed resulting in a DSQ. No breakdowns occurred.
