As the Fordham University Sailing Team upgrades its 420 fleet from 10 to 18 boats, we are selling the following:
1. 10 sets of North mains and jibs in good condition...used for three full College Sailing seasons, i.e., Fall 2010 - Spring 2013. Main-sails come in five sets of colors allowing for visible 2-on-2 Team Racing, as well as Fleet Racing. Sail bags included. Photos of sails may be accessed by going to www.fordham.edu/sailing. The top of each page has a picture of several boats sailing downwind. At the bottom of the "2013 Regatta Schedule" page is a photo of two boats sailing upwind. The image of a Ram on the jib is more visible in the latter picture. The cost for one set of sails is $400. The fleet price for 10 sets is $3,250. Orders for 2 - 9 sets of sails will be accepted at a price between $340 - $380 per set, contingent upon the number of sets purchased. 2. Fifteen, virtually brand new jibs all sporting the Fordham Ram...$195 each or $1,875 ($125 per) for all 15. Orders for 2 - 14 jibs will be accepted at a price between $140 - $180 per sail, contingent upon the number of sails ordered. Sails are ideal for growing college/high school programs plus yacht club and/or community sailing association fleets. Sails may be picked up at Morris Yacht & Beach Club, City Island, New York City or shipped at buyer's expense.
